Trans activist uses sign as a weapon at my event

California has a law against leaded canes that can be used as weapons, but last year this law was ruled Unconstitutional, creating a limbo while the state appeals the ruling. I'm currently using a cane to get around due to my present disability. So when I approached with my mobility aid in hand a few minutes later, they must have calculated that I perhaps had brought a baton to a sign fight, and further, the optics of attacking a visibly disabled, limping person when the police were already on their way were bad enough, that they let me through without incident. That or they figured it would be worse to directly attack one of the speakers on the flyer who was clearly not there to fight. Better to attack a woman they judged to be less significant. The other TRA had to step in like he's in behavior therapy and needs a minder to make sure he doesn't attack people like a rabid dog. I'm embarrassed for all of them. Imagine being their parents.
