Transformation in Christ - Galatians 1:11-17

Paul started out this chapter defending his call to be an apostle from Jesus Christ, and then defending the gospel against the perverted “gospel” of the judaizers who were telling the people in Galatia that Jesus and works equaled salvation. In this passage, Paul starts to give his story of the transformation in his life from a zealous Pharisee who persecuted Christians to God’s chosen vessel to preach the gospel to the world. Paul’s testimony serves as a reminder to us that NO ONE is beyond the saving power of God, and that we are called by God’s grace to be His children through His unmerited favor and in His timing.
