Jenny Callaghan is a survivor of a five-car pileup in 1996 which left her with a severe Traumatic Brain Injury. Until brain injury changed her life, she had worked as a Community Worker, a Human Rights investigator and a teacher of Adult Literacy and was pursuing a PhD in Adult Education. She was also the single Canadian mum of a teenager. She is the author of, “My Brain and I,” an account of her struggles to recover from her injury and make a new life for herself. We discuss useful tools that have helped us lighten the load, of our journey through recovery. This is a "we" recovery program, because it is in the "we," that we find the new "me."
