ABOUT: Jacqueline Haven is a dynamic trainer and Employment Facilitator for the Department of Labor Transition Assistance Program, where she empowers Transitioning Service Members & their Spouses with the tools, knowledge, and self-assessment techniques they need as they begin their journey from active-duty service into the civilian workforce. As a military spouse herself, Jacqueline knows first-hand the challenges that transitioning service members and their spouses face in navigating and branding their skills to the civilian workforce. With over 15 years of experience creating and delivering engaging, interactive, and impactful in- person and virtual training to a wide variety of audiences, Jacqueline has an innate ability to captivate an audience and design and deliver highly interactive instruction. She is passionate about connecting people with the information and learning they need to enable their success and is continually recognized for going above and beyond to add value to diverse programs. A multi-talented educator and trainer, Jacqueline has a Master’s in Educational Technology from National University and Bachelors in Music Business from DePaul University. She is a California certified music educator with a history teaching in public, international, and Department of Defense schools. She has also taught English as a second language in the Japanese public school system. Beyond training and education, Jacqueline has worked in the entertainment, marketing, sales, and retail industries, working for such prominent companies as Warner Bros. and ESPN. She has coordinated everything from small projects and events for non-profit agencies to large scale, multi-million-dollar projects and events collaborating with A-list talent. Having also lived and worked in Japan, she is well-versed in culturally diverse environments and has intermediate Japanese language skills.
