Literary Associate, Rosie Kellagher, interviews well known playwrights and theatre-makers whose work features in the year round programme at the Traverse. In this episode, Rosie Speaks to Al Smith. Al's Play Diary of a Madman is part of the Traverse Festival programme 2016. His other theatre work includes Harrogate (HighTide / Royal Court Theatre); Enola; The Bird (Underbelly); Radio (Underbelly / Soho / 59E59NYC); The Astronaut Wives Club (Soho Theatre). He is currently under commission to the Royal Court Theatre.
