Triple-Double Podcast: USC basketball teams head to Acrisure Classic in Palm Springs

The USC Triple-Double Podcast -- the Peristyle Podcast's basketball-focused podcast -- returns with co-hosts Shotgun Spratling and Connor Morrissette (aka Mr. Triple Double) breaking down the latest action from the USC women's and men's basketball teams, including the Women of Troy being harassed from start to finish by a Notre Dame team that showed USC has a lot of work it needs to do to reach the big expectations and aspirations for this season.Shotgun and Connor also look back at USC men's 80-69 victory over Grambling State that was a struggle throughout until the Trojans closed strong, finishing the game on a 13-2 run to improve to 5-1.The podcasters look at where the men and women's programs stand after three weeks of action with plenty of concerns still needing to be addressed by both teams as they try to jell with so many new faces on both rosters.Shotgun and Connor also preview the upcoming weekend of action in the desert as both teams travel to Palm Springs to play in the Acrisure Classic tournament. The Trojans bested Seton Hall last year around the same time of year when playing in a tournament in the Bahamas, but both of these teams have completely revamped their roster with nine new players.
