from Neon Jazz KC · host Neon Jazz KC
A “premier trombonist of the New Orleans style”, Jerry began studying music at the age of 12. While growing up in Connecticut, he performed in a variety of marching bands, drum corps, jazz bands, brass quintets, classical orchestras, and later earned degrees in Performance and Music Education at the University Of Connecticut. For over a decade, Jerry Zigmont has been playing and touring with Woody Allen & The Eddy Davis New Orleans Jazz Band.
