The Simple Truth About Forgiveness (You can’t afford to be without it.) Thank you for joining us for this podcast episode 002 of True Connections with Weston Jolly Forgiveness is one of the world’s most misinterpreted words. If you find the word forgiveness doesn’t feel good to you then please don’t ever hear it again. Instead, every time you hear the word, replace it with a new word. For example, you might like the word, release. Or maybe you’d prefer, the phrase; letting go. Maybe you’ve already done this? If so, good! Use your word. I think this is easiest to understand when you think about unconditional love. If love is to be truly unconditional; then, there can’t be good or bad. You aren’t loved for what you do or don’t do. You are just loved regardless of what choices or experiences you’ve chosen or created. I think you can immediately see that understanding is pivotal to the topic The Simple Truth About Forgiveness ….You Can’t Afford To Be Without it. (HIT PLAY to LISTEN) ______ Transcription: Forgiveness is one of the world’s most misinterpreted words. Words do mean specific things. And they can often mean different things to certain people. We are going to use the word forgiveness only if you want too. Therefore, right here and right now. If you don’t like the word forgiveness then throw it. Don’t even hear the word. This goes for any time you might hear me say it or in any other place you hear it. If you find the word forgiveness doesn’t feel good to you then please don’t ever hear it again. Instead, every time you hear the word, replace it with a new word. Replace it with a word that you do like. If the word forgiveness has any bad taste to you, then spit it out. Every time you hear the word replace it with your new word or phrase. For example, you might like the word, release. Or maybe you’d prefer, the phrase; letting go. Maybe you’ve already done this? If so, good! Use your word. Personally, I like the term letting go. It’s simple, I don’t have any preconceived associations with the phrase. For me, it feels better. So, if you hear me say letting go, or even release instead of forgiveness you now know it all means the same thing. This is true also for any word that you want to use. Believe it or not, this simple concept is very important. Language, and the words we use to support it, is used to convey our thoughts. However, we don’t want to really connect to this energy of letting go. Let me tell you why. Your brain is designed to interpret all your experiences through your five senses. Naturally, these are; hearing, seeing, touching, tasting, and feeling. This last sense, your ability to physical feel, as all of your other senses, is actually interpreted. Your mind doesn’t see or even feel it interprets these sensations. Usually, into a basic category of Good or Bad. Spiritually, there isn’t any such thing as good or bad. If you’ve never heard of this concept before, then let me be the first to introduce it to you. This Earth plane is one of duality. You know, Day vs. Night, Male vs. Female and in terms of electricity; negative vs. positive. However, it would be inappropriate to associate the negative current of electricity as good or bad. I think this is easiest to understand when you think about unconditional love. If love is to be truly unconditional; then, there can’t be good or bad. You aren’t loved for what you do or don’t do. You are just loved regardless of what choices or experiences you’ve chosen or created. I think you can immediately see that understanding is pivotal to the topic The Simple Truth About Forgiveness ….is You Can’t Afford To Be Without it. If you really understood, what I’ve just said, I conclude speaking on this topic. Let me share with you more about what I mean. If in unconditional love, i.e. there is no good or bad, then you can’t get hurt. If we all truly practiced this there would be no need. ______ Something More The Art of Letting Go _______ Contact Us Here Telephone: (480) 212-1961 The post True Connections with Weston Jolly: The Truth About Forgiveness – EP 2 appeared first on Weston Jolly - Spiritual Awareness.
