She shifted her entire image and brand. On April 8, 2023 Doja tweeted on Twitter that “pop isn’t exciting to me anymore. I don’t wanna make it.” This was the first of many changes. On June 16th, Doja Cat released a new single entitled “Attention.” Attention consists of rap music. She typically displays her ability to rap and sing on all of her songs. However, rapping is the focus of the song. Doja’s fans have been very responsive to the new sound as well.  Doja Cat’s music video reached over 11 million views in just three weeks.
