Trump's MAGA Counterterrorism Director Just Quit! Called the Iran War a LIE!

Joe Kent, the National Counterterrorism Center Director and a Green Beret with 11 combat deployments, resigned today in protest of the Iran war. In his resignation letter to Trump, he said Iran posed no imminent threat, that the US started this war because of Israeli pressure, and that it’s the same tactic that dragged us into Iraq. Kent lost his wife to a suicide bomber in Syria in 2019 and said he cannot support sending the next generation to fight and die in a war that serves no benefit to the American people. Trump called him weak on security. The Arms Control Association found that Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff misunderstood Iran’s nuclear proposal and was ill-prepared to negotiate.
