Trusting God and Understanding His Expectations

Proverbs 3:5-6 states. ”Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”  How far or how much are we willing to trust God with the things we consider to be unbearable? Are we willing to devout our entire lives to God or just the parts of our lives the the outside world can see?  When you pray are you praying with great expectation, as if God has already answered? Or are you praying as if you’re rubbing on a lamp hoping a genie comes out to grant your wish?
