First up is CBS college football color commentator Charles Davis, who will be on the broadcast for USC at Rutgers this weekend along with legendary play-by-play man Brad Nessler. Davis is a former Tennessee defensive back that has worked in television covering college football and the NFL for the past 30 years. He talks about what he has seen from the Trojans so far this season and also gives a glimpse into what has stood out from his film study on the Scarlet Knights. Next we have a fun conversation with Fred Segal, author of the newly released book Freezing Cold Takes College Football. Fred has been active on social media the past decade or so, pointing out hot takes that turned cold after being proved categorically wrong. He shares some of his favorite cold takes from over the years, including what many members of the media were saying after USC hired Pete Carroll back in 2001.
