Turf Burns

This week on City Dads, the guys dive deep into another rollercoaster week of St. Louis City SC soccer — from blown leads and questionable ref calls to roster frustrations and flashes of brilliance that keep us hanging on. We talk about what’s broken, what gives us hope, and why being a City fan feels like living in Groundhog Day. But it’s not all soccer — we go off the rails with stories about flea markets, Facebook Marketplace treasures, self-tanner scams in the Old West, coaching kids’ soccer, and even “Hooters Church.” Plus, we roast movie reboots (Happy Gilmore 2, anyone?), debate childhood sports heroes, and uncover why short shorts might mean you’re hiding something. Whether you’re a St. Louis sports fan, an MLS diehard, or just here for the laughs, this episode delivers comedy, chaos, and plenty of hot takes. 👉 Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more weekly episodes!
