Turn the stuff of nightmares into joy with TedX speaker, Gary Hirsch.

Gary Hirsch suffered from horrible nightmares as a kid and the growing fear was intense… until his dad did something magical. Gary was invited to draw the monsters that were eating him alive, and to talk about them over cinnamon toast in the middle of the night. It helped. And then one night, his dad invited him to do something new, and it changed everything.

What Gary learned thru these experiences with his dad is one that has the power to help all of us transform what we fear into something we can work with, especially in times like these. Those same monsters that brought Gary so much terror, now deliver joy on a global basis in all aspects of Gary’s life and work. It’s a pretty incredible story. One we can all learn from.
