Turning a personal tragedy into an opportunity with Andy Hnilo

Andy's amazing story: Ithas been quite a ride for me. I woke up in an ICU hospital bed on the night of March 20th, 2011 and realized I had been struck by a series of large vehicles while crossing a busy street. I had a collapsed lung, seven broken ribs and a severe compound fracture of my jaw, which was broken in five places… As someone who has always made a living based upon my appearance — modelling and acting — and the execution of demanding physical tasks — as an athlete, the outcome of this incident had far-reaching implications. I approached my problem from a nutritional perspective, rebuilt myself and was back on a runway in a mere 7 weeks. How did I do that? By attacking my injuries both from the inside and outside. The most critical tool for healing my exterior was a hand-crafted blend of unique, specialized ingredients from around the world, which I formulated myself. I moved everything out of my bedroom into my living room and went to work on fine-tuning my formula. The Alitura Clay Mask was born. Since then, I’ve built my empire Alitura Natural Products with a Night Cream, Moisturizer, Herbal Supplement and Shaving Serum. In 2016 alone we had triple digit revenue growth and international expansion, now in 73 countries.
