Two People Exchanging Saliva: An Interview w/ Alexandre Singh & Natalie Musteata
from The Revisionist’s Almanac · host The Revisionist’s Almanac
Two People Exchanging Saliva (2025) is an absurdist, genre-blending story about a dystopian world where the currency is slaps to the face and kissing is a criminal offense punishable by death. This 36-minute Oscar shortlisted live-action short is the creation of two brilliant artists, Alexandre Singh & Natalie Musteata. Andrew sat down with them to discuss how the story came about, the decisions that went into the technical aspects (music, color, setting), what the characters represent about society, and more.
