from Washed Up Walkons Hosted by Tyler Kluver
In this episode of the Walk Ons podcast, the team sits down with Tyler Elsbury, a recent graduate from the Iowa Hawkeye football team. Tyler is from Byron, Illinois and was part of the 2020 recruiting class for Iowa. Tyler shares his experiences and challenges transitioning from college to NFL training. He describes the differences in training schedules and locations, choosing Marquette, Michigan over warmer and more luxurious spots for his draft prep. Tyler delves into his multi-position versatility on the Iowa offensive line, reflecting on his role as the 'sixth man' ready to fill any position. The conversation also covers his childhood, growing up in a sports-centric, big family in Illinois, and his ambitions of becoming a coach in the future.
