At age fourteen Lily Metcalf was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. As an aspiring footballer, this knocked Lily’s confidence, she was embarrassed by her diagnosis and believed she wasn’t good enough. Two years later, Lily wants to inspire others with diabetes through Dan's Trust and Diabetes UK.
