UFOs Leading Us Astray

This week I'm talking to Joshua Cutchin about his book 'The Inverted Path: Supernatural Disorientation and Interruptions in Travel'. It’s an old belief: fairies leading us astray, altering our surroundings until we find ourselves profoundly lost. In the centuries since, this experience has evolved, appearing in firsthand testimony involving ghosts, UFOs, and cryptids. Join acclaimed author Joshua Cutchin as he follows the trail of these reports to their logical conclusion, revealing connections to the modern phenomenon of vehicles arrested by supernatural forces. Despite endless variations over the centuries, the motivation remains the same, the belief ancient and unchanged. Bio Joshua Cutchin has appeared on hundreds of paranormal programs, including Coast to Coast AM, and is regularly invited to speak at paranormal conferences about his work. In addition to his own books, Joshua also regularly contributes to essay collections, most recently Dr. Jack Hunter’s Deep Weird (2023) and Dr. Simon Young’s The Cottingley Fairies (2024). He has appeared on the hit History Channel television series Ancient Aliens and was featured in 2024’s breakout UFO documentary, Cosmosis. He is a regular guest on Where Did the Road Go?, and maintains an online presence at JoshuaCutchin.com. When he isn’t writing or being a father—which is most of the time now, it seems—you’ll likely find Josh playing tuba in Atlanta, Georgia, where he maintains an active performing and recording schedule. https://www.joshuacutchin.com/ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F3FLJG1M https://www.patreon.com/cw/alienufopodcast https://simonbown.com/ My new book, Aspects of Alien Abduction https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GRRPCT9Y
