This week I'm reading from Richard Lang's book 'UAP Incidents First Responders Guide: POLICE - EMS - FD' UFO/UAP Enigma Is Real - Now more than ever it is becoming clear to the general public that UFO/UAP enigma is real. After years of secrecy the truth is finally coming out about vehicles of non-human origin that have visited here, some that have crashed here, and non-human entities both dead and alive that have been recovered. UAP Incident Preparedness for First Responders - Just as officers were once trained in hazardous materials recognition and counterterrorism preparedness, UAP Incident Preparedness will hopefully become a necessary component of public safety operations and training. Law enforcement officers are uniquely vulnerable to UAP encounters due to the isolated and unpredictable nature of patrol work. Therefore, it stands to reason that sheriff's offices, police departments, fire departments and EMS rescue squads would now want their people properly trained to understand this phenomenon, to at least know a little bit about the history of it and most importantly from a personal safety perspective, know what to do and not do if they ever encounter such a situation. Federal Law Enforcement In the post 911 period Mr. Lang left his banking career to serve as a Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) at the rank of Sergeant in Virginia airports. He was sworn both on the federal level as Special Deputy for the U.S. Marshals Service and on the state level as a Deputy Sheriff for the County Sheriff’s Office. During this time the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) was initially created as Congress had mandated extremely high levels of security for USA Airports. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) After serving for approximately a year as a LEO Richard was hired by Homeland Security and assigned to TSA as a Federal Liaison for airport stakeholders responsible for implementing federal procedures and dealing with regulatory initiatives associated with aviation security. This also included responsibility for airlines and airport authorities as well as all law enforcement agencies in Virginia that respond to airports during aviation emergencies. In this episode, I explore one of the most compelling physical strands in the alien abduction literature: the alien implant phenomenon. Reported by experiencers across decades of contact cases, implants are described as small foreign objects found beneath the skin, often after memories of missing time, medical procedures, strange marks, sudden pain, or direct encounters with non-human beings. I look at the work of Dr Roger Leir, the Californian podiatric surgeon who became central to implant removal cases, and his collaboration with abduction researcher Derrel Sims. Their investigations helped move the subject from testimony into the operating room, with objects removed, preserved, photographed, and sent for scientific testing. Key cases include Mary Jones, whose objects were removed from her left big toe, and Pat Parrinellio, whose implant was removed from the back of his left hand. These early removals were followed by reported analysis involving pathology, microscopy, metallurgical testing, X ray diffraction, fluorescence studies, magnetic testing, and isotopic examination, with laboratories including Los Alamos National Laboratories and New Mexico Tech appearing in the record. I also examine the object removed from Jesse Long’s leg after decades of reported contact, and cases involving nasal objects, foot implants, fibres, crystalline material, and glass like fragments. Across the literature, these objects are often described as unusually integrated with the body, sometimes showing little ordinary inflammatory response, magnetic qualities, fluorescence under ultraviolet light, or possible association with nerve tissue. Rather than treating implants as symbolic or psychological material, this episode focuses on the physical claims: where the objects were found, how they were removed, what testing was reported, and why the phenomenon remains so important within alien abduction research. Small, hidden, and deeply unsettling, these objects suggest that the abduction experience may leave more than memories. This week I'm talking about the Shag Harbour UFO Incident On the night of October 4, 1967, the quiet fishing village of Shag Harbour, Nova Scotia, became the centre of one of Canada’s most compelling UFO cases. Multiple witnesses saw a set of bright lights moving low across the sky before appearing to descend and strike the water offshore. Believing they had witnessed an aircraft crash, local resident Laurie Wickens contacted the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. What followed makes the Shag Harbour incident stand apart from many UFO reports. RCMP officers responded, local fishermen took boats out to search for survivors, and the Rescue Coordination Centre in Halifax checked for missing aircraft. No commercial, private or military plane could be connected to the event. There was no wreckage, no bodies, no debris field and no ordinary crash site. The case soon drew in Canadian military authorities. The Royal Canadian Air Force became involved through official reporting channels, and Navy divers from Fleet Diving Unit Atlantic searched the seabed near the reported impact area. Despite the seriousness of the response, no conventional explanation was found. In this episode, I revisit the events of that October night: the witnesses who saw the lights, the police response, the search on the water, and the military investigation that followed. I also look at why Shag Harbour has endured as one of the strongest UFO cases in Canadian history. This week I'm talking to Allan Lavigne about his UFO experiences. Bio Allan Lavigne is a former investigator for the Aerial Phenomenon Research Organization from 1974-1980. He went on to a two-pronged career path spanning more than 45 years, as both a Physical Security Specialist and Intelligence Analyst in the private sector, working closely with the Joint Terrorist Task Force, FBI and Homeland Security. In this episode, I talk about one of Britain’s most fascinating UFO mysteries: the Berwyn Mountains UFO incident of 23 January 1974, often called the Welsh Roswell. On a cold winter night in North Wales, residents near Llandrillo and Bala reported a huge bang, a tremor, and strange lights over the Berwyn range. But what makes the case so compelling is what some witnesses said they saw on the mountain itself. I explore the reports of a bright red light on the hillside, described by witnesses as “coal-fire red,” a “large perfect circle,” and “like a big bonfire.” Some accounts also spoke of white lights moving nearby and of the glow changing in intensity and colour. District nurse Pat Evans is closely associated with seeing a large glowing object on the mountain after driving toward the scene, believing there had been a crash. Other witnesses described the area as pulsating with strange light, adding to the enduring mystery of what happened in the Berwyns that night. Was it a crashed UFO? A military recovery? The account given in this book is that of James W. Penniston, a Staff Sergeant at the time of the incident, who was the primary witness who led the investigation in the beginning and had ‘Top-Secret clearance’ – one of only eight people with Top-Secret clearance working Security at the twin bases. His credibility and honesty were highly respected throughout his years in the USAF. Jim Penniston has teamed-up with author Gary Osborn to present the definitive account of the Rendlesham Incident and the aftermath of events, just as he witnessed and experienced them from the incident itself, which began during the early morning hours of Boxing Day, December 26, 1980 up to April 2014. In this episode, I talk about one of the United Kingdom’s most intriguing UFO mysteries: the Broad Haven UFO incident. In February 1977, the quiet seaside village of Broad Haven became the center of national attention after a group of schoolchildren reported seeing a strange craft near their playground. What began as an unusual lunchtime story quickly turned into one of Britain’s most famous UFO cases, drawing investigators, journalists, and researchers to this small Welsh community. The sighting occurred at Broad Haven Primary School, where fourteen children claimed they saw a silver, dome-shaped UFO hovering near a nearby field. When their headmaster questioned them individually, the children were asked to draw what they had witnessed. Surprisingly, many of the drawings shared similar features, depicting a structured craft with a rounded top and wide base. The consistency between the sketches helped turn what might have been dismissed as playground imagination into a story that captured wider curiosity. As news of the sighting spread, other residents in the area began reporting UFO experiences of their own. In this episode I'm talking to Peter Khory about his alien encounters. Peter Khoury is an Australian experiencer whose accounts have become associated with one of the most widely discussed and scientifically examined UFO abduction cases on record. His experiences began during his childhood in Lebanon. During that early incident, he and other children were on a rooftop in broad daylight when he observed an egg-shaped craft hovering silently above them. Peter found the children suddenly frozen, as though, for them, time had momentarily stopped. Khoury stated that two beings inside the craft appeared to be observing him during the event. In 1988, Khoury had another significant encounter in which he again came into contact with the same entities. During this experience he also described the presence of short hooded figures similar to those described by Whitley Strieber in his book Communion. Khoury has stated that the events of that night had a profound impact on his life and would later link his personal experiences to one of the most controversial and unsettling cases in UFO research. A pivotal event in Peter Khoury’s experiences occurred in 1992, when an encounter resulted in a strand of unusual blonde hair being left behind. This physical sample later became the focus of detailed scientific examination, including DNA analysis conducted by Dr. Horace Drew. The testing of the hair drew significant attention and played a major role in bringing wider awareness to Khoury’s experiences. As researchers and investigators examined the case, it became closely associated with the work of UFO researcher Bill Chalker, particularly through his book 'Hair of the Alien', which documented the circumstances surrounding the encounter and the subsequent analysis. This week I'm talking to Barbara Eberhardt about her ET contact experiences.BioBarbara was born in 1943 during the bombings in Berlin, Germany. Her family had to evacuate Berlin and moved to a small village. After the war they moved back to Berlin, just in time for the blockade.In 1954 she immigrated to Canada, in a little town in the Province of Quebec, called La Tuque where she went to school until she moved to Montreal and went to school there for a year.She later moved back to Germany, finished her education there and got a degree in banking, met her husband and together they immigrated to the US, to San Francisco in 1965. A few years later she had 5 “miscarriages” and in 1983 her son was born there.
