El Parkinson es una enfermedad neurogenerativa que afecta generalmente a personas mayores y que, en su estado avanzado, provoca un temblor incontrolado en las manos y otras extremidades, lentitud de movimientos y otros trastornos. La enfermedad fue descrita en 1817 por el doctor James Parkinson y, como comenta hoy Analia Bortolozzi, nuestra invitada en Hablando con Científicos, "A día de hoy, a pesar de haber transcurrido más de 200 años, sabemos muchas cosas, pero aún no podemos saber con exactitud cuáles son las causas".
