Unconventional Relationships in Midlife

from Old Chicks Know Sh*t Podcast · host Jennifer Arthurton

A few months back I came across a series of articles talking about the differences between what men and women want in relationships later in life.  Women are apparently less likely to want to get married or cohabitate and for men it’s the opposite. It peaked my interest and I wondered why, and what that meant for relationships as we age.  So this week on the podcast my guest  Barb Beck, an expert relationship and life coach, and I  dive into why women are choosing unconventional relationships dynamics. There are lots of great reasons for “together but apart” relationships and also a number of considerations.  No matter where you are in your relationship status this conversation shares some great relationship insights for all of us.     -------- Barb Beck is an expert relationship coach known for her compassion, direct approach, and intuitive insights. She has received extensive coach training, worked under the guidance of Louise Hay, and been a licensed spiritual practitioner for more than 10 years through the Living Enrichment Center.   https://www.linkedin.com/in/barb-beck-coaching-54630719/   Instagram https://www.instagram.com/coachbeckpdx/   Facebook https://www.facebook.com/barb.beck.315/
