In one of our most knowledgeable and insightful podcasts, we speak with Owen Deis, who is currently finishing up his undergraduate honours program in History. By completing several research projects and presentations, he has noticed his passion in discovering societal ideologies and cultural norms during the time of the Nazi Germany and the American occupation thereafter. Apart from his passion for History and Political Studies, he feels motivated to take up leadership roles. Last year, Owen served as the President for the Arts and Science Student Union (ASSU) and has brought several positive changes to the student body that he hopes that they would continue on. This year, he is serving as the Finance and Operations Manager for the USSU and hopes that the team will work towards connecting with the students across various colleges a bit more.
