Inspired at first by the music of Daft Punk, the Chemical Brothers, and Massive Attack (and later, POB, Sasha, and John Digweed), Jaspersohn began recording his own house and techno music at age fifteen, and quickly unlocked his signature gift for creating fresh sounds and beat patterns. He studied drawing and painting at Regent's College in London, and graduated with a degree in painting and sound engineering from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York.
