After listening to an interview of Pastor McPherson from the Tony Robbins podcast I heard Pastor McPherson introduce the idea of the 3rd Option. Option 1 is your own viewpoint, Option 2 is the opposing view and the 3rd Option is having your own perspective but understanding the opposing view. It's about understanding different perspectives and understanding each other. This is something we can apply in the Health field as practitioners can be guilty of not listening to people when they present with their injures and complaints!
