Undocumented: How the Journey to Citizenship Plays a Part in Healing

Hola! In this episode I was joined by Gabriela Aguilar -  a Latina Brand Specialist & Founder of Teran Media Design. We spoke about her experience of coming to the U.S. as a teenager and how being undocumented brings many layers of challenges. Gabriela also shares the unexpected changes that becoming a citizen brought into her life, with safety came space to reflect back on everything she had experienced. Gaby now focuses on her business and explains to us who she serves and why.This episode reminded me of the tremendous privilege it is to be born in this country and not have to grow up with the uncertainties that being undocumented can bring.
