Une belle photo… Thierry Seray nous met en garde contre le piège du graphisme où l'on confond un beau sujet et une photo issue d'une véritable démarche. Bien entendu l'image sera belle dans le premier cas, une photo de voiliers au départ d'une frégate ou d'un vieux gréement… c'est toujours beau parce que le sujet est beau, d'une part, et parce que les appareils actuels savent faire, d'autre part. Mais quel est alors notre rôle de photographe ? Il nous invite à réfléchir à notre démarche, à chercher des photos de ce que nous sommes seuls à voir… l'esprit, l'ambiance du sujet.
