Unhinged with Fear

from Impeccable Thoughts, Impeccable YOU · host Amanda DeNardo

Fear confuses emotions with logic. Fear does not want us to step back and trust because if we are to stand firmly in faith, fear can no longer survive. Faith is hard. Fear distorts our reality--thanks again-- to our primitive brain. Our mind creates all of these wild stories based on false evidence in our experience which results in keeping us isolated and disconnected. It is  a fight or flight response. The problem is that this primitive, reptilian part of our brain-- called the amygdala--cannot differentiate between real imminent danger like being chased by a grizzly bear versus the faux danger of our six principle fears: poverty, criticism, loss of a loved one, old age, ill health and death. When we allow ourselves to feel discomfort, we get rid ourselves of the puppet strings that our fear-based thoughts and patterns tie us to. We stop drowning when we have the courage to listen to our soul.A big life is full of big emotions, mistakes, and falls and we often run from big emotions because they feel so scary and they hurt like someone whacked you with a baseball bat in the stomach. Feeling the big emotions allows us to solve life's greatest riddle.Don’t judge the feelings.Get curious about them because when we face them we grow and embrace power within to run with the wolves and show up more alive, wild, and free.Your most impeccable life is waiting for you.  Learn more about how you will start seeing all of the amazing possibilities when you have a coached brain.
