United Transportation Services - Connecting Families With Their Incarcerated Loved Ones No one goes to prison alone, their family is affected in a variety of ways and staying connected with ones family while incarcerated is one of the most important factors in reducing recidivism. Many poor families cannot afford to make the trip to visit their incarcerated loved ones and public transportation is often expensive and doesn't go where they need it to. Prison administrations often make it difficult to visit and prisoners are transferred to facilities far from their families for institutional reasons.
