Unlocking Joy: How Boundaries Create Space for Self Discovery and Joy
from First Gen Healing - Latinx Healing and Awakening Journeys · host Priscilla Luna
Hola! This is Part Two with Alex Romero, a Latino who over the last few years has been on a journey that I know many FirstGens find themselves in... getting to know one self outside of hard work and responsibilities towards others. In this episode we dive deeper into best practices for boundary setting, why you may have a hard time doing it but also why it is actually tied to your capacity to experience more joy! We hope you enjoy this short but impactful episode! Get to Know Alex: Alex Romero is a First Gen Latino and has spent the last 10 years of his career supporting students on university campuses. Through his roles on university campuses he has primarily focused on supporting underrepresented students in building community and helping them feel supported during their college experience. Most recently Alex began focusing on his healing journey after he hit a big low in his life and was feeling deeply unfulfilled. Alex now uses his platform as a way to talk about his healing journey and also assist others in their own journeys. More specifically Alex is focused on Prioritizing Joy, Prioritizing Self, and Releasing Limiting Beliefs.Follow Alex: TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@itsthealexrome?_t=8hTuip0ZFl5&_r=1Instagram: https://instagram.com/itsthealexrome?igshid=NzZlODBkYWE4Ng%3D%3D&utm_source=qr------------------------------------------ If you’re craving more spaces like this, Soul Prim@s is an online community where we land, reflect, and stay connected between episodes.
