UNPACKED REALITY: I'M A CELEBRITY - DENISE DRYSDALE

Hi Guys, welcome back to TV Reload. Thank you for clicking or downloading on today’s episode with Denise Drysdale. Our first eliminated celebrity from I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here for 2024. Throughout her jungle journey, Denise undoubtably made her mark on the campmates. From her entertaining game of ‘Ding or Dong’ that taught campmates about her long and illustrious career, to hosting a celebrity fashion show, and bravely taking on the inaugural eating trial, Vom-Appetite.  Denise took this opportunity to raise awareness of her chosen charity, Gotcha4Life, whose mission is to inspire and enable people to build mental fitness which is very important to Denise who has shared hope of a world where no one worries alone. There are some fabulous stories shared by Denise on today’s episode and for the first time we talk about some shared memories from the 80’s and 90’s. From when Denise was a big part of my childhood… and a side note;  you will hear me talking about her boys both Pete and Rob who’s names I should probably highlight so you know who we are talking about.  Denise reveals about how many times she had been asked to do the show and why she finally said yes. We will unpack her time in ‘the celebrity jungle’ and hear why we didn’t hear more stories about her famous co-stars like Ernie Sigley, Daryl Somers and Frank Holden. You will get some interesting insights into why Denise has had a pretty tough attitude amongst a boys club of television executives. Which includes me highlighting the need to include her into The Logies Hall of Fame.      I am also delighted to hear Denise retelling a story about her Mothers prank calls to Channel Nine receptionist back in the day and why when we were growing up her Mum would leave on all the TV sets in our home… There is so much to unpack with Denise.
