Jan 22 Christ and Dilbert and eternityNearly everyone I know loved the comic strip Dilbert. It was by Scott Adams.  I think we liked Dilbert because it used humor to expose the absurdities of office work in America. Scott died last week and he was reflecting on his life. One of the greatest things he said in his goodbye last week was, "I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and my Savior, and I look forward to spending an eternity with him." Scott Adams talked about how he changed his life after his wife left him.  He said, "I needed a new meaning in life." He was already famous. He was already successful.  Dilbert, which debuted in 1989, became a cultural fixture for satire on office life, management culture, and corporate bureaucracy. He also had a podcast like mine, only more popular. It was called "Coffee with Scott Adams." And it was dedicated to helping people think about the world, and their lives in a more productive way. Scott said, "I had an amazing life and I gave it everything I had. If you got any benefits from my work, I'm asking you to pay it forward as best you can. That's the legacy I want. Be useful, and please know I loved you all to the very end."  But towards Scott Adams' end, he was reviled by liberals, as much as liberals hated Dr. Seuss. You see, both men were too honest to be politically correct. But Vice President Vance Honored Scott Adams as a great ally to President Trump, and he said that Adams faced death with clarity, courage, and honesty. I hope one day I can do the same.Support the show#Political/Conservative/Judeo/Christian/Constitutional
