This is getting super mental, so let's stop that behavior, since one day, you never know---the s/v might just start talking. After trauma, learned in advocacy (specific to being the go to person for an s/v in ER to get the facts so there's 100% full consent in decision-making after harrowing experience that most likely, may be a first time) people are expressive or non-expressive. ASSAULTS encompasses everything & doesn't have to be specific unless specifically ask & s/v wants to share it.AFTER "FIRST ROUND" of assaults decades ago, definitely non-expressive, but I also had choice in my life. WHO was in my life & GOAL-SETTING since high-achieving is a characteristic due to not wanting others to know. I reported it to two people after *two incidences & made life changes when there was no-response. Those people were out of my life, but there was a third checking in, now realizing it had nothing to do with me, just ensuring those moments didn't bubble up.AFTER "SECOND ROUND" of assaults which was multiple times over 3 years, became expressive, but mostly because was going to speak to "fight back," & later what I realized was grounding self when could not move to tell disconnected body, "still here. Not going back there."*more than two, but focuses on these two incidences only since s/v doesn't have to share everything, right? That's consenting to WHO needs to know. The rule, only if you need to know so WHO needed to know?Support the show
