He was also a Harris-Walz Delegate for the 2024 Democratic Convention and will be the upcoming 2025 Tampa Pride Grand Marshal.Plus, Dr. Nick Biscardi - a gay Marine Corps veteran, healthcare professional, and advocate with a background in military service, medicine, and politics. Raised across the U.S., he enlisted in the Marine Corps but was discharged under the repealed “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy. He then studied nursing in Florida before earning a medical degree in China. He works on local politics, serves as the Political Action Chair for the Hillsborough County LGBTQ Democratic Caucus in Tampa Bay and is committed to inclusivity and policy change.
