Urban Legend (1998)
from The Gory Gays · host Alex Marquez & Stanley Jacobus
What's your favorite scary movie? Oh wait, wrong movie. What's your favorite urban legend? Tune in now to listen to your favorite Gory Gays break down the 1998 'teen' slasher (where every teen is at least 30) "Urban Legend" - while Stanley praises the music and the campiness of Rebecca Gayheart's performance, Alex stands behind the gloomy background of the actual legends themselves, but ultimately we think everyone can agree we are anti-Natalie, and really… did we even need this film? We also discuss the beauty of Loretta Devine, Danielle Harris breaking out from her childhood horror-roles, and how we chose to celebrate Halloween this year... but we DID, however, forget to mention that the creepy janitor is played by horror vet Julian Richings! Here's to a lovely holiday everyone. That's a wrap, Spooky Season! 🎃 Don't forget to rate us on Apple Podcasts and whatever else you'd like and to follow us on the socials.
