USC Scholarship Distribution Chart plus Trojan spring preview lists

In this edition of the Peristyle Podcast hosts Ryan Abraham and Chris Trevino are back in studio LIVE discussing the newly updated 2023 USC Trojan Football Scholarship Distribution Chart which currently shows 90 players on scholarship, 5 more than the NCAA mandated 85 limit. The guys breakdown the numbers by class and position and compare how the roster stacks up with the 2022 version. They also discuss how head coach Lincoln Riley needs to remove at least five players before this summer when the 2022 roster officially changes over to 2023.The countdown to spring football is on with workouts starting in just a couple of weeks. Our own Chris Trevino has been putting together lists of players to watch for this spring and he discusses some of his selections on the show. His latest piece discusses five Trojans who need to have a big spring like edge rusher Korey Foreman, linebacker Raesjon Davis and offensive lineman Courtland Ford.There have also been a few support staff changes for the guys to discuss including former Oklahoma starting defensive back Bookie Radley-Hiles. Heisman winning quarterback Caleb Williams was in Phoenix for the Super Bowl and during his First Things First appearance he set some lofty goals for his junior campaign including 60 touchdowns and 5,000 passing yards.
