USC Triple-Double Podcast: Men win Maui Invitational, Women of Troy fall to Notre Dame but get back on track

The USC Triple-Double Podcast -- the Peristyle Podcast's basketball-focused podcast -- returns with co-hosts Shotgun Spratling and Connor Morrissette (aka Mr. Triple Double) breaking down the Trojan men winning the Maui Invitational as well as the Women of Troy losing a heartbreaker to Notre Dame, but bouncing back to win two straight. Eric Musselman's team is 7-0 on the season and ranked No. 24 in the latest AP poll after taking down Boise State, Seton Hall and Arizona State in Maui. USC managed to win the championship game over Arizona State without leading scorer Rodney Rice, who injured his shoulder early in the second half of the team's semifinal win over Seton Hall and didn't return.  The Women of Troy are 5-2 on the season after falling to Notre Dame, 61-59, on the road and then beating Tennessee Tech and Pepperdine at home. Lindsay Gottlieb's team is ranked No. 16 in the latest AP poll.  The USC Triple-Double continues with a look at where both programs stack up nationally in multiple statistical categories before concluding with a preview of the men's Big Ten matchups at Oregon and Washington this week as well as the women's non-conference home game against St. Mary's.
