Using Affirmative Language to help you drink LESS!

from The Radical Healing Podcast with Jessica Betancourt · host Jessica Betancourt

When you start to notice or continue practicing becoming aware of how you are talking to yourself, you will become aware of how your thoughts are driving your behavior. When people tell me that they "Got a case of the Fuck its" for example, I ask them how were they talking to themselves in that moment when they were also deciding to have a 4th or a 5th drink or to finish the bottle. They always respond that their thoughts were not in a good place at that moment. Changing your thought patterns changes everything! Notice how you speak to yourself and adjust your thinking to be more loving, compassionate, and nurturing, and see how that helps to change your behavior. Are we connected on IG?
