So I jumped at the opportunity to speak with him, being an artist and musician who, by design or not, has gone on to influence a wide group of people himself. So to be able to pick his mind, even a little, about the perspective of influence of music on a creative person and ultimately discussing an album that was incredibly important to his own development was thrilling.
