V&V Ep. 141 Scott Levesque (Skyjelly/Wheat) discusses Red Red Meat's Bunny Gets Paid
from Vinyl and Vision · host Psychic Static
Here's a wonderful conversation with a guy who doesn't do interviews very often, nor do I personally know of him doing any other long form interview. So this was a great opportunity to speak with Scott Levesque of Wheat, whom I've been a fan of for a very long time. Wheat was certainly more of a pop band, and I don't usually get to speak with many pop acts, but Scott is an exception to this not only because I'm a fan, but also because Wheat was never just a pop act. They have always had this weirdness to their music that may have been part in why they were never able to break big in the music biz. But with enough sensibilities to rub elbows with some of the greatest acts of their era like The Flaming Lips and more importantly, the topic of discussion today, Red Red Meat and their seminal album Bunny Gets Paid. So this was a pretty interesting one.If you've happened to miss Wheat, catch up here:https://www.thiswheat.comScott's new project, Skyjelly, is different than what Wheat was, but not too far off.
