It's funny how some bands just develop a buzz about them fairly quick, while others seem to disappear into mediocrity. Both can be said about both of these groups. Guji is a very new band that, at the time of this recording, have only played a handful of shows and release their first recording. And here they are getting publicity and having their album released by a label. Whereas, The Monks had only finally received any kind of notoriety decades after they broke up.
