Aflevering twee van de special reeks 'Bewust Onderweg' gemist? Ron Lemmens doorkruiste weer stad en land om boeiende verhalen op te halen. Deze keer dook hij in de wereld van verschillende sectoren en individuen die een gemeenschappelijk doel delen: veiligheid en bewustwording. Ron ging op pad met bergingsbedrijf Wolves om te zien hoe zij te werk gaan en wat hun rol is in het veilig houden van onze wegen. Daarnaast sprak hij met de algemeen directeur van Strukton Rail, Tjark de Vries, over hoe veiligheid en verduurzaming een centrale rol spelen binnen dit bedrijf. Ook hoorde je het aangrijpende verhaal van Fred Sprenger. In 2008 verloor hij zijn dochter door een noodlottig ongeval, veroorzaakt door afleiding door een mobiele telefoon. Fred is nu een ambassadeur voor MONO. Tot slot sprak Ron met Wim Brenkman van de Provincie Drenthe, dat actief bezig is met het creëren van bewustwording over veiligheid op de weg. In gesprek met Wim besprak hij de verschillen tussen deze landelijke regio en de drukke Randstad. Hoe zetten zij zich in voor veiligheid en bewustwording op de wegen?
