Ventum CEO Diaa Nour - All things Ventum, and News on upcoming 2020 Bikes!

from The Pacing and Racing Podcast · host The Pacing and Racing Podcast

Hey guys and Welcome to the Pacing & Racing Podcast. The Canadian Triathlon Podcast Made In Mind for the Age Group Triathletes. I am really excited to say our latest guest is the Co-Founder of one of my favorite bike companies, Ventum Racing, and that is Diaa Nour! Now if you watched the 2019 IRONMAN World Championships in KONA this year then you’ll probably recall seeing Diaa interviewed during the race when the athletes were just starting out in the early km's of the Ventum Bike Course! In this quick interview, you were able to catch a glimpse of the man behind the scenes who took part in creating the first-ever design of the Ventum Bikes alongside co-founder Jimmy Seear! Now in today’s episode you’ll hear how he and Jimmy came together to take a risk and going with their guts by creating a new bike in what was a VERY niche and competitive market back in 2014! Since 2014 they have created the Ventum One which is their flagship model, their Ventum Z which is the most economical version, and their Ventum Signature which is upwards of $32,000 USD! They also JUST released a UCI Legal Ventum Road Bike called the NS1 which I am SUPER pumped to chat about because as well all know this could be a game-changer for Super League athletes and even the athletes preparing for Tokyo 2020! Diaa also dives into the latest bike initiatives they are taking on and will be coming out with new VERY exciting bike designs next year! Have a listen to find out! It’s an excellent podcast today so sit back, relax, and enjoy the episode!
