Verstappen in 60th! Kimi Raikkonen in NASCAR! WRC, Moto GP, Indycar, NASCAR & more. On the Grid

Welcome to episode 33 of the Lovecars on the Grid podcast! Our presenters, Tiff Needell and Paul Woodman bring us another roundup of motorsport events from the past week!   This week, Paul joins us from yet another hotel room! We have WRC, Moto GP, Indycar, and NASCAR!   The WRC was in Belgium, where Max Verstappen's farther, Jos Verstappen entered and finished 60th! In just the second stage, we had Championship leader, Kalle Rovanperä roll his Yaris. Elfyn Evans received a 10 seconds penalty for checking in late, and ending up losing the rally by 5 seconds, to Ott Tänak, who stormed to victory in his Hyundai.    Moto GP took place at the Red Bull Ring. Francesco Bagnaia took pole position and took the eventual win, having now won 5 of the 8 races, with the other top 5 all also riding on Ducati bikes!    In Moto2 and Moto3, the Japanese riders took the win, with a win for Ai Ogura on his Honda in Moto2, and a win for Ayumu Sasaki on his Husqvarna for Moto3.   Moving across to America, the Indycar drivers were racing at the Gateway Raceway at Illinois, with noticeably empty stands! After a break due to the poor weather, we had a win for Josef Newgarden, with David Malukas in 2nd place.   NASCAR was at Watkins Glen, with ex-F1 driver, Kimi Raikkonen taking part! The Hendrick pair of Chase Elliot and Carl Larson were the two leaders, with Larson diving up the inside in the final 3 laps of the race, pushing Elliot wide and forcing him back to 5th place. Raikkonen qualified in 27th, and managed to achieve 9th place, but was taken out later in the race by another driver.   Next weekend, we have some more European racing! Formula 1 is back at Spa in Belgium, with a slightly new layout at Eau Rouge and Radillion. We also have NASCAR at Daytona, being the last round before the playoffs, with just 1 spot left available. Back in Britain, we have the BTCC at Thruxton, and the British Superbikes at Cadwell Park.
