TEMA 1- LOS DIAS DE POMPEYA El 24 de agosto del año 79, el volcán Vesubio, al sur de Italia, entró en erupción, arrasando las ciudades de Herculano y Pompeya, que permanecieron sepultadas bajo la ceniza durante casi 17 siglos. En 1748, estando en el trono de Napolés el futuro rey español Carlos III, comenzaron las excavaciones en ambas ciudades, siendo rescatada para la posteridad Pompeya, «un laboratorio de la Historia», donde se puede reconstruir con gran exactitud cómo fue la vida cotidiana de una ciudad de provincias (20.000 habitantes) del Imperio Romano. Licenciada en Geografía e Historia por la Universidad Complutense - Autora del libro: "Pompeya": vida, muerte y resurrección de la ciudad sepultada por el Vesubio. TEMA 2 - EL VESUBIO ARGENTINO En Argentina, El Vesubio fue uno de los centros clandestinos de detención más duros de la última dictadura - Funcionó entre abril de 1976 y noviembre de 1978. Por el lugar, entre desaparecidos y sobrevivientes, pasaron algo más de 4000 personas. En sus instalaciones fueron vistos secuestrados y aún figuran desaparecidos, el escritor Haroldo Conti, el cineasta Raimundo Gleyzer y el dibujante Héctor Oesterheld.
