He recorded his first album as a leader in 1979 and has made 16 albums as leader during the past 39 years as he explores the possibilities of the steel pan in contemporary music .. Over time, he has performed on movie scores by James Horner, Hans Zimmer, Thomas Newman and on TV shows and commercials .. In 2017, he was inducted into the Percussive Arts Society Hall of Fame.
