VGK gets on-time start but can't close out Habs in OT defeat

Bruce Cassidy demanded an early start for the Golden Knights in Montreal and VGK delivered an early goal within the first ten minutes.  But they relinquished the lead in the second period and had to battle to battle to force overtime on a second Pavel Dorofeyev goal.  In the OT period Jake Evans scored the walk off goal for the Habs in a 3-2 final.  Goaltending was at a premium Akira Schmid stopped 23 of 26 shots in the game.  Montreal's Jakob Dobe had 32 saves.  There was no shortage of stellar saves.  We discuss VGK losing to better opponents this season and we have fan comments about Adin Hill and his recent struggles.  Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
