VGK rallies to pull out much needed O.T. win
from Locked On Golden Knights - Daily Podcast On the Vegas Golden Knights · host Locked On Podcast Network
The Golden Knights rallied from a 2-0 deficit to force overtime on a Reilly Smith goal, then won the game late on a Tomas Hertl power play goal. VGK gave up a goal on two turnovers on the same play and also allowed a goal from the "blue line" according to Bruce Cassidy. Hertl scored the goal on a deflection of a shot from the point by Mitch Marner. Mark Stone scored a goal for a fifth straight game, Brett Howden also scored. It was a game in which the Jets Haydn Fleury was stretchered off the ice with an upper body injury. We have attrition concerns about the seven VGK players that are going to the Olympics and whether they will be fatigued upon return. And, VGK and St. Louis could do business again. The rumor mill has VGK interested in Blues defenseman Justin Faulk. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
