In today's news, the Vikings have traded OLB Za'Darius Smith to the Cleveland Browns for draft capital, including a 2024 fifth-round pick and 2025 fifth-round pick. The Vikings will also retain part of Smith's salary, the exact total remains to be seen. The team has also announced the participants for the 2023 rookie minicamp, which includes QB Jaren Hall from BYU and CB Mekhi Blackmon from USC. The Vikings have also officially signed four of their six draft picks, including CB Mekhi Blackmon, S Jay Ward, DT Jaquelin Roy, and QB Jaren Hall. In other news, the Vikings have 17 ex-players set to face their former team in 2023, including WR Adam Thielen and LB Eric Kendricks. We'll see how they perform against their former teammates.
