Los ordenadores están cada día más presentes en nuestras vidas, no solamente nos ayudan a realizar las más diversas tareas, sino que, poco a poco, van ganando terreno en la mayoría de las actividades que, hace muy poco, eran consideradas exclusivamente humanas. Estas máquinas, cada vez más sofisticadas, escrutan el entorno con sistemas que imitan a nuestros sentidos, pero con capacidades ampliadas que los superan en ciertos aspectos. Uno de los sentidos más ampliamente utilizados y mejorados por los ordenadores es el de la vista. Hoy hablamos de la visión por computador con Gloria Bueno. Gloria es profesora en la ETSI Industriales de Ciudad Real, Universidad de Castilla La Mancha, dirige el Grupo de Visión por Computador y Sistemas Inteligentes (VISILAB).
